It was a late Saturday night. We had a super stubborn clog in some old galvanized pipes. Mr. Rooter send out Phil. Phil was great! He found the problem pretty quick. With determination and professionalism he final got it cleared out. I would recommend Mr. Rooter and Phil to anyone! He even cleaned up. We are so happy we choose Mr. Rooter!
We had a plumbing emergency and found Mr. Rooter while frantically searching for a 24-hour plumber. We feel like we hit a gold mine. Not only did we get a timely response. Everyone at Mr. Rooter was friendly, professional, competent and went above and beyond. Our plumber, Phil, was extremely helpful and gave us tips we could use moving firwars. Not to mention, the cost was extremely reasonable.
Had sewer water backup in toilet and tub. Received callback as promised and arrived early. The tech determined we needed the main line to be cleared. He quickly located the opening and had us cleared in minutes. Very happy with the service. I was not prepared for the fee but it was an emergency.
Plumber, Phil, came out on short notice on a Saturday night and fixed our issue quickly, professionally and courteously. I contacted a different, well known plumbing company right before Mr. Rooter. The receptionist was rude and they didn’t call me back to say they couldn’t make it until after Phil left! The Mr. Rooter receptionist was very nice and they called me back quickly. I’m glad they did.
I just wanted to say James did a great job at my house. Excellent service, professional and very nice. Thank you so much for helping me with my plumbing problem. Did wonderful job.
I was very happy that I went with Mr. Rooter’s. The service was very quick and up front. Jessie James was very helpful answering my questions and replacing my hot water heater. He was pleasurable to do business with. If another problem arises in my home, I will be using this company again.
A thorough, professional, pleasant experience. I had a back-up in the 50 year-old pipes of my new home. I called Mr. Rooter to have them locate the blockage, snake the line, and then use their video snake to get a visual of the integrity of the pipes. I’m glad that I called and will use them again for future needs.
You get what you pay for. Edwin Robles of Central NJ educated me as a 1st time homebuyer on why and what he was repairing, prevention, PROMPT,(on a sunday at that!) clean, knowledgeable, super professional but DOWN TO EARTH and at a REASONABLE PRICE! Sewer pipes unclogged and main water line fixed. I was no longer crying once job was thoroughly executed. After all $#@* $tinks but somebody has to do it and I HIGHLY recommend him and this company for a job well done. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
Absolutely lovely office staff! I always knew when the repair person was coming. Lorenzo our repair guy was awesome, I really don't think there is anything he can't do. He looks young, but don't let that fool you! So happy all the repairs are behind us. We really just did a one-stop shopping and decided to have everything we've put off fixed because it was such a tremendous experience!
Although baths and long showers can be relaxing, they may be significantly contributing to water waste. An average bath fills with around 40 gallons of water, while a 10-minute shower uses about 25 gallons. To conserve water, you should aim for shorter showers (under 5 minutes) and install a low-flow showerhead to reduce water use without compromising pressure.
Toilets account for about 30% of the average household’s indoor water usage, making them the biggest water guzzler in most homes. Every time you flush non-flushable items like tissues, paper towels, and even food scraps, you waste 5-7 gallons of water. The solution is to use a wastebasket for non-flushable items, compost food scraps, and educate others about what should and shouldn’t be flushed.
Older, inefficient showerheads and toilets use much more water per flush or shower compared to newer, high-efficiency models. A standard toilet can use up to 3.5 gallons per flush, while a high-efficiency toilet uses only 1.28 gallons. Older showerheads can use 2.5 gallons per minute, while low-flow models use 2 gallons per minute. Upgrading to high-efficiency showerheads and toilets can significantly reduce water usage. If your plumbing fixtures have seen better days, it’s best to have a qualified plumbing service make upgrades.
Even small leaks can waste gallons of water every day. A faucet leaking one drip per second can waste up to 2,000 gallons of water per year. It’s recommended to regularly check for leaks around faucets, pipes, and toilets. If you notice signs of a water leak, contact a nearby plumbing repair service for leak detection and repair.
Washing machines use a significant amount of water per cycle, regardless of the load size. Running half-full loads wastes water and energy. It’s advisable to wait until you have a full load before running the washing machine. Some machines have settings for smaller loads, so use those when necessary. Consider hand-washing smaller items instead of running a partially full machine.
While newer dishwashers are more efficient, they still use a significant amount of water per cycle. Running them with half loads wastes water and energy. You should wait until you have a full load before running the dishwasher, or if you need to run it sooner, use a “half-load” or “light-wash” setting if available.
Letting the faucet run while scrubbing dishes uses significantly more water than filling a sink or basin. It’s best to tu off the faucet while soaping and scrubbing dishes and only tu it on to rinse briefly. Alteatively, fill a basin with soapy water and use that to wash dishes, then rinse them in another basin or under a controlled flow of water.
This is one of those unconscious habits that can tu out to be expensive in the long run. Leaving the faucet running while brushing your teeth can waste gallons of water per day. Tu off the faucet while brushing your teeth, and only tu it on briefly to rinse. Fill a glass with water to use for rinsing instead of letting the faucet run.
