Had sewer water backup in toilet and tub. Received callback as promised and arrived early. The tech determined we needed the main line to be cleared. He quickly located the opening and had us cleared in minutes. Very happy with the service. I was not prepared for the fee but it was an emergency.

Little Silver Township

Plumber, Phil, came out on short notice on a Saturday night and fixed our issue quickly, professionally and courteously. I contacted a different, well known plumbing company right before Mr. Rooter. The receptionist was rude and they didn’t call me back to say they couldn’t make it until after Phil left! The Mr. Rooter receptionist was very nice and they called me back quickly. I’m glad they did.

I was very happy that I went with Mr. Rooter’s. The service was very quick and up front. Jessie James was very helpful answering my questions and replacing my hot water heater. He was pleasurable to do business with. If another problem arises in my home, I will be using this company again.

Brick Township, NJ

A thorough, professional, pleasant experience. I had a back-up in the 50 year-old pipes of my new home. I called Mr. Rooter to have them locate the blockage, snake the line, and then use their video snake to get a visual of the integrity of the pipes. I’m glad that I called and will use them again for future needs.

You get what you pay for. Edwin Robles of Central NJ educated me as a 1st time homebuyer on why and what he was repairing, prevention, PROMPT,(on a sunday at that!) clean, knowledgeable, super professional but DOWN TO EARTH and at a REASONABLE PRICE! Sewer pipes unclogged and main water line fixed. I was no longer crying once job was thoroughly executed. After all $#@* $tinks but somebody has to do it and I HIGHLY recommend him and this company for a job well done. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

Absolutely lovely office staff! I always knew when the repair person was coming. Lorenzo our repair guy was awesome, I really don't think there is anything he can't do. He looks young, but don't let that fool you! So happy all the repairs are behind us. We really just did a one-stop shopping and decided to have everything we've put off fixed because it was such a tremendous experience!

Are All Cleaners and Deodorizers Safe for My Toilet?

  • Natural Toilet Bowl Cleaners

Eco-friendly toilet bowl cleaners are recommended for toilet cleaning because they are made up of natural, plant-based ingredients such as citric acid, borax, and vinegar. Natural toilet bowl cleaners are not only gentle on your toilet, but they are also safer for septic systems. If you’re shopping for reliable natural toilet cleaners, we recommend you choose eco-friendly toilet bowl cleaners with certifications like Green Seal or EPA's Safer Choice label.

  • Bleach-Free Toilet Tank Tablets

Those drop-in toilet tank tablets provide a convenient way to keep your toilet clean and smelling good with minimal effort on your side. Our plumbers in Freehold Township recommend using tablets without bleach, as they are the safer choice.

What Is Not Safe for My Toilet?

  • Harsh Chemical Cleaners

While harsh chemical drain cleaners may be effective in the short term, they can actually do more harm than good. Chemical drain cleaners are made of a series of harsh chemicals that can cause damage to the toilet bowl and the drain lines. In addition, they are not good for the environment or your health. Instead of reaching for a bottle of liquid chemical cleaner, we recommend you use a combination of baking soda and vinegar to clean your toilets. This combination is not only effective for toilet cleaning, but it’s also safe for your health. If you have a stubbo toilet clog that cannot be removed using a plumbing snake, reach out to a plumbing repair service that offers professional drain cleaning.

  • Drano

Drano may seem like a quick fix for a clogged toilet, but there are several reasons to avoid it. This product is made up of a number of chemicals, including aluminum, salt, bleach, sodium nitrate, lye, and many more. These chemicals can erode your plumbing pipes and damage the toilet bowl if you use them frequently. When it comes to unclogging toilets, it is a good idea to call a skilled and experienced plumber to help you out. Professional plumbers are equipped with video inspection cameras to identify the location of the clog and use the appropriate method to clear the clog.
