Had sewer water backup in toilet and tub. Received callback as promised and arrived early. The tech determined we needed the main line to be cleared. He quickly located the opening and had us cleared in minutes. Very happy with the service. I was not prepared for the fee but it was an emergency.
Plumber, Phil, came out on short notice on a Saturday night and fixed our issue quickly, professionally and courteously. I contacted a different, well known plumbing company right before Mr. Rooter. The receptionist was rude and they didn’t call me back to say they couldn’t make it until after Phil left! The Mr. Rooter receptionist was very nice and they called me back quickly. I’m glad they did.

A thorough, professional, pleasant experience. I had a back-up in the 50 year-old pipes of my new home. I called Mr. Rooter to have them locate the blockage, snake the line, and then use their video snake to get a visual of the integrity of the pipes. I’m glad that I called and will use them again for future needs.
You get what you pay for. Edwin Robles of Central NJ educated me as a 1st time homebuyer on why and what he was repairing, prevention, PROMPT,(on a sunday at that!) clean, knowledgeable, super professional but DOWN TO EARTH and at a REASONABLE PRICE! Sewer pipes unclogged and main water line fixed. I was no longer crying once job was thoroughly executed. After all $#@* $tinks but somebody has to do it and I HIGHLY recommend him and this company for a job well done. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
Absolutely lovely office staff! I always knew when the repair person was coming. Lorenzo our repair guy was awesome, I really don't think there is anything he can't do. He looks young, but don't let that fool you! So happy all the repairs are behind us. We really just did a one-stop shopping and decided to have everything we've put off fixed because it was such a tremendous experience!

The heart of your electric water heater, the heating element, can bu out over time. This is a common culprit for no hot water. When the element fails, it can no longer convert electricity into heat, leaving you with cold showers. Our plumbers recommend you stay on top of regular water heater maintenance to extend the lifespan of the heating element.
If your gas-powered water heater has stopped working, evaluate the gas supply tube for leaks. You’ll know you have a gas leak if you notice a rotten egg smell in your house that doesn’t go away. Next, check the gas inlet valve to see if it’s secure and in the correct position. If everything seems secure, it’s advisable to call a licensed plumbing service to perform a professional inspection.
For older gas water heaters, a consistent pilot light is essential. The pilot light ignites the buer when the water heater is tued on. If it goes out, the water heater won't produce hot water. Thankfully, relighting a pilot light is a simple process: open the access panel and tu the gas valve to the “Pilot” position. Call a nearby plumbing repair service if you’re confused about how to relight the pilot light.
Is your hot water heater not working after a plumber has completed the installation? It’s likely that something went wrong during the installation process. It could be due to incorrect wiring or the water heater is undersized. It’s never a good idea to troubleshoot wiring issues yourself unless you’re a skilled plumber. Call a professional water heater service provider to perform troubleshooting and offer solutions.
Your water heater thermostat needs to be in good condition and set correctly to provide adequate hot water. If the thermostat is damaged or wo out due to age, consider replacing it. While you’re at it, check the high-temperature cutoff switch to see if it has been triggered. Fixing the cutoff switch is as simple as pressing the reset button.
If the water heater's circuit breaker trips, it will cut off power to the unit, resulting in no hot water. Check your electrical panel for any tripped breakers or blown fuses.
A water heater that's too small for your household's demand might not be able to produce enough hot water. If you keep running out of hot water quickly or it takes a long time for your water heater to provide hot water again, it may be time to assess your hot water needs and consider upgrading to a larger water heater to ensure an adequate supply of hot water for your household. You may want to install a tankless water heater to enjoy a continuous supply of hot water. It’s a good idea to consult with a licensed plumbing service for professional recommendations.
